TEAM NEWS | Bogle set for full debut as Bowyer makes three changes

Omar Bogle will make his full Charlton debut in tonight’s away game at Blackpool.

The striker came on as a substitute in the Addicks 1-0 win at home to Wigan Athletic on Saturday and is one of three changes to the starting lineup for this evening’s game.

Ben Purrington and Conor Washington also start with Jake Forster-Caskey, Chuks Aneke and Paul Smyth moving to the bench.

There is also a place on the bench, for the first time, for Ian Maatsen, who joined the Addicks on loan from Chelsea last week.

If the Addicks play the same formation as the 4-diamond-2 they did on Saturday then Purrington will join Chris Gunter, Ryan Inniss and Akin Famewo in a back four in front of Ben Amos.

Ben Watson would hold in midfield with Alfie Doughty and Darren Pratley ahead of him and Andrew Shinnie behind the front two of Bogle and Washington.

With the flexibility in the side, Bowyer may opt for a 3-5-2, with Purrington moving into the back three and Gunter and Doughty operating as wing backs. He may also use the 4-3-3 used earlier this season with Doughty and Washington either side of Bogle up front.

Jonny Williams, Dylan Levitt and Ashley Maynard-Brewer join Forster-Caskey, Aneke, Smyth and Maatsen on the bench.

Charlton: Amos; Gunter, Inniss, Famewo, Purrington; Watson, Pratley (C), Doughty, Shinnie; Washington, Bogle

Substitutes: Maynard-Brewer, Maatsen, Forster-Caskey, Levitt, Williams, Smyth, Aneke
