The Charlton Events team has years of experience in organising parties and events and we love what we do. We receive lots of enquiries and there are certain questions that are asked regularly, so we thought we would share our experiences and answers with you.
1. Can I book a birthday party at The Valley?
Yes you can! You can book any style of social event with us from birthday parties to christenings and anniversary parties to wedding receptions. At the moment you can take advantage of a special offer valid for all events taking place before the end of June which includes a free glass of Prosecco or draught beer for all guests on arrival. 2. What sized party can I book?
The stadium has lots of different sized rooms suitable for events from 10 – 1000. Most social parties are between 50 – 100 guests and we have three or four rooms that can be used for events of this size. All have built in bar areas which is ideal when you want to party! We encourage you to come and have a look at the options so you can choose for yourself.
3. What sort of food do you provide?
Our head chef, Jane, has worked at The Valley for the last 22 years. Cooking is her passion and the food that is served reflects that. She has developed party, dinner and afternoon tea menus that suit most parties. However, if you don’t see what you want Jane is happy to meet and create a menu especially for you.
4. Can I use another caterer?
Should you be organising a very large party for over 300 guests, the event would take place in the North Stand and this is the only area where we do allow outside caterers to be used. They do however need to provide us with some formal paperwork that we would discuss directly with them.
5. How much will it cost?
The overall cost will depend on your final numbers, which room you choose, your menu and what drinks you require, but our pricing is very competitive. Wherever possible we will work with you to meet your budget.
